Charleston Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, a practice group of nine board-certified otolaryngologists, has been accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Computed Tomography Laboratories (ICACTL)for its on-site CT scanners, one of the first 500 in the United States and Canada to earn this recognition for commitment to high quality patient care employing this advanced diagnostic imaging technology.

CT scans are performed to diagnose conditions of the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and sinuses, and require CT operators and interpreters to be highly trained and skilled. Charleston Ear, Nose and Throat's hi-speed CT scanner provides precisely detailed images of patients' afflicted area within seconds, allowing their doctor to obtain results and initiate a treatment plan during the first office visit. The practice offers CT scans in two locations, West Ashley and Summerville. The images can be electronically forwarded to doctors in any of its five other locations in the tri-county area.
